Overview of the procedure

Our first call will involve a clinical assessment and oral examination to ensure you meet the criteria for new dentures. We can fit you with full or partial dentures, cosmetic, chrome or otherwise. Sometimes you may need a dentist to formally refer you to a denture clinic.

The rest of the treatments will take place over 2 or 3 appointments. We will need to take a mould of your mouth which will be used to create the dentures. Usually by the third time we visit your home your dentures will be ready to be fitted.

There may also be a follow up visit to ensure everything is working as normal.

Recent patient testimonial—

“After struggling for 7 years with NHS dentists I decided to try a different approach. Wow! I was treated like a person and they made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I am now walking around with the biggest smile, which I haven’t done for years. And all done in a professional way. Thank you!”

Usually we can provide any type of dentures at home. This includes full, partial, upper or lower and materials such as acrylic, chrome or new BPS dentures. There will be some additional costs and possibly extra appointments.

There is no requirement for additional staff unless you are in a care home or are so immobile that you need additional staff to support you. Sometimes it’s good to have a family member present. We can discuss this with you during the consultation or over the phone.

Generally speaking, new dentures will take around 3-4 appointments. Additionally, we may also need to see you at a later date to make sure everything is still successful.

We currently don’t offer evening appointments for home visits, however we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
